Acerca De The Pause Before The Panic
The Pause Before The Panic started back in late August of 2009, in Tucson, AZ. Three local friends, Julienne Cordero (Guitar), Ben Cording (Vocals), and Andrew King (Synth), decided to become a garage band and having the same dream as any other musician in their early stages which was to one day perform for people on a stage. From three members, to five, the band grew quickly. Former member Joe Montoya (Drums), and current member Clint Carter (Bass), joined The Pause Before The Panic and began to practice at a garage. One year had past and TPBTP had not seen much action that involved playing for people, but for a few house parties and school shows. As time passed, Andrew King found out about another guitarist which would shed new light on TPBTP, and bring the band into its early stages of recognition. Kenny Carreon (Guitar/ Vocals), joined TPBTP and started remaking all their songs into a bit of a different style. Joe Montoya did not "feel" the music anymore after the twist that Kenny Carreon gave it and decided to depart with band. For almost 2 months, TPBTP did not have a drummer and found itself losing time due to it. Ben and Clint heard of a local drummer who was part of another local underground band and decided to check him out. Sure enough, Paulo Lopez Molina (Drums), was a reasonable choice to consider and was invited to try out for TPBTP. Paulo Lopez Molina loved the style of the band and perfectly filled in the gap as the band's new drummer. After 4 Months of recruited Paulo Lopez Molina, TPBTP played their first Live Show.
