The first Caryon Tree riffs were born during 2012 with one thread: groove! With a strong
experience in Metal universe, Sam founder of the band and inveterate perfectionist is gently
charmed by old sounds of this century’s music precursors. He composes a few lines in this new
perspective with varied influences such as Blues, Jazz or Funk updated with energetic and
incisive Rock.
After a few formations and home-studio recordings, it’s in 2016 that Sam finds the right persons
to lead this project to the next stage. Benjaminemeritus airplane pilot and Maic budding
producersublimate the compositions by bringing their personal touch and influences. For two
years the trio is refining and working hard on the thorny arrangements that Sam offers.
Satisfied and with the right amount of accomplished compositions, they will record their debut
album to be released in early 2019.
