Mason Pryor has huge footsteps to follow in, but he’s on the right path. The Columbus, Ohio, native and former Central State University football player, has been performing stand-up for close to 10 years, and has performed in clubs around the United States, hosted shows and opened for major headliners such as Eddie Griffin, Mike Epps and James "Talent" Harris. “Pretty much wherever I can get my hands on a mic, I’m going,” Pryor says. Mason credits Eddie Griffin as the one who taught him the ropes and helped to find his legs in comedy. Pryor worked every night at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for two years as an opening act for Eddie Griffin.
