Formed in 2010, SuperSonic Lips is a band from Dallas, TX consisting of Yaya Lion (vocals, synths) and Saulo Ramón (guitars, synths), Jawdat Anguiano (drums), and Miguel Santana (bass).
Their flexible sound and upbeat concerts has allowed them to share the stage with a wide range of artists from different genres, such as: TV On The Radio, Kaleo, Gogol Bordello, She Wants Revenge, Kinky, Porter (Mexico), La Gusana Ciega, AJ Davila, Pommez Internacionál.
In June 2017, SuperSonic Lips released their sophomore EP, "Blinded Pleasures." The album was funded by Ninkasi Brewing Company, from Eugene, Oregon, after the band emerged winner of the "Last Band Standing" contest. The album was recorded and produced by James Book at Ninkasi Brewing Studios, and mastered by Joe Bozzi at Bernie Grundman Studios in Los Angeles, CA.
