You may know 24 year old Kendre' Berry as an actor from various TV shows and movies including the hit CW television series "Girlfriends" (as Jabari, Maya's son), the Nickelodeon series "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" (as Backpack Boy), the Academy Award winning HBO series "Six Feet Under" (as Durrell Young, Keith & David's adopted son), and many more, including guest starring roles on everything from "ER" to "Cold Case", "Lincoln Heights", "One on One", & Nickelodeon's "All That".

Since the tender age of 12 Kendre' has been demonstrating his goal of being multi-talented like some of his biggest inspirations: Will Smith & Jamie Foxx. In the summer of 2011 Kendre' accomplished mainstream music success with the release of a single he wrote alongside P. Diddy's son Quincy, titled "Stay Awhile". The smooth R&B song featured Kendre' and landed them at number 5 on BET's 106 & Park Top 10 countdown. This entertainment destined young man will surely show you he's got more where that came from.

At 13, Kendre' began experimenting with making beats on DJ Funk Master Flex's "Music Generator" Playstation game. He stuck with it, sharpened his skills and took it to the next level when his parents purchased his first pieces of studio equipment at age 14. Only wanting to be a producer at the time, Kendre' honed his craft for the next 3 years, even taking his music equipment with him on TV sets to work in his spare time. He was the only kid on the set of "Girlfriends" so this left him with a lot of time by himself, so he spent that time on his music. Whenever Kendre' would go missing on the set of "Girlfriends" it became a known routine amongst everyone to follow the music all the way to the trailer and you'll find him!
At Age 17, after having his parents add a few more pieces to his studio and feeding from the inspiration of his mentor: Nick Cannon who provided his own personal studio microphone straight from his studio. He decided to record vocals to some of these hot beats he had been making for the past 4 years and become an artist as well.. He started rapping, a year later he added singing to the formula.
As time flew by, every song that Kendre' wrote was improving as he even insisted on challenging other hit records on the charts with his own remix editions that commonly went viral. His latest remix to Ty Dolla Sign's "Or Nah" which earned him over half a million views on YouTube and can be heard on Pandora and other internet music services including iTunes.
Determined to creating the best sound he could possibly make without depending on anyone, Kendre' taught himself how to record, mix, & master his self-produced songs. This took some time but he has definitely earned his multi-faceted title stamp as Kendre', the actor/singer/rapper/songwriter/engineer! See for yourself with his upcoming debut R&B EP "Guess Again" scheduled to release in Winter 2015. Without a doubt he's what you would call a "one man band". With the determination and skill that this young man has developed in every area over the past 10 years, Kendre' is well on his way toward sharing the stage with his very own inspirations.
