Loved the performances from all the artists, its so good to see Jimmy and his family working together. I was not to impressed with the price and quality of the bucket hat I bought from the merch stand, I didn't realise until the next day that it cost me $55 and the Hoodie I bought for my husband only cost $80, the hats are not even printed just a sew on badge. Other than that the venue was great.

Wow! What a line-up! The beautiful and vibrant Kate Ceberano was perfect to kick the show off with her energy & music. Ian Moss amazed us with his guitar playing and satisfied the die-hard Chisel fans by playing some of their classics. But then came Ice House, my personal favourite. I would have paid just to see them! Their young sax player is fabulous! Their playlist is timeless and yes, Great Southern Land SHOULD be our national anthem! Jimmy gave us his all as usual and didn't disappoint with a long encore of favourites. His daughter has a great voice and I loved seeing Mrs Barnes playing her bagpipes! The seating & the carpark were well organized and relatively easy to get in and out of. Lots of food & drink venues. Very helpful people directing folk to their allotted seats and answering questions. All in all, a GREAT day out. We got home feeling thoroughly entertained!

the concert was great , Jimmy was his usual great form . we paid extra for garden bar seats as i am in a wheelchair most of the time and wanted easyer access to disabled toilets etc .We were very disappointed with the running of this area by the venue though as they were allowing more patrons into the area than there was seating spaces & by the time Jimmy came on there wasn't standing room & we couldn't see the large screens let alone the stage . The other problem we had was when we were trying to get out we left before it was finished just before 10.00pm we got to the wheel chair taxi we had ordered while jimmy was still singing but the venue never had any taxi exits available so by the time i had my chair loaded lots of other cars were leaving & the taxi couldn't get through despite the driver trying to get a priority departer . the cab fare cost us three time the original fare to get there . The BEST NIGHT EVER 👏🏿🎇🎉 Especially sitting 4 rows from the stage when jimmy Barnes came over my way a few time then he looked at me few times & Pointed his Finger at Me "I'm like he remember me" from his Book signing "WORKING CLASS BOY" 9yrs ago, then the Drummer his Son Jackie Barnes come over & gave me his Drum Stick, that top the Night off for Me, I'll Never forget this.

Jimmy was a great show he is a true icon and he really was good - the banter between his wife and the stories he told were funny and reflective. The venue itself was nice however we found too many people were heading out to get drinks and go to the toilet hence there was alot of movement. As it is a seated venue this made it really annoying to have to stand up and then move for numerous people going in and out the rows and in some cases it restricted the view at a good song.

What a night Well done Jimmy I have always been a fan, have all your albums and Cold Chisel as well. Have been to many a concert but this one was something special. It felt like we were included in your Family. Love the interaction and the story telling. Jane what a beautiful woman. I also loved the idea that you and Jane were their with you young musicians nurturing them and letting them have a go. Your beautiful Daughter EJ What a voice, but not surprised due to the breading. What better way to spend a cold, winter, Monday night than with the amazing Jimmy Barnes and his band, made up of his wonderful wife - Jane, their family and friends. The 'Hell of a Time Tour' is Jimmy's first tour since his open heart surgery last year. He said that he wanted this tour to be intimate, to play some of his favourite songs and, "strip them back to the bare bones and really tell the stories. We think it's going to feel like you guys are sitting in our lounge room." That's exactly what we got plus, plus! The support act was Taylor Sheridan - a country boy, whose debut album 'Troubadour' will be released on 31 August 2024. It was just him, his beautiful voice and guitar. It's definitely on my download list! To the main event: it was absolutely amazing and included a special appearance by Ross Wilson. Jimmy's rendition of, 'The Bonnie banks of Loch Lomond' was beautiful. Unfortunately, my phone storage maxed out, so I didn't manage to dump data in time to capture it! The banter, love, respect, glances/check-ins and smiles between Jimmy and Jane is beautiful to watch, as is their obvious proudness and admiration of/for their family and other band members. The tour is sold out, but, if by luck you get the chance to snag some tickets, don't hesitate to go!

Jimmy is always so awesome and he still is. We found the concert very entertaining and I didn't want it to end! We loved the candid interaction and especially loved it when Jimmy and Jane had a dance! EJ is such a good singer too. We absolutely loved the concert and will definitely see him again if and when he and his band comes out to Perth. The opening act, Taylor Sheridan, was really good and entertaining too. His song about his grandmother was lovely and I found that it brought back memories of my relationship with my grandmother. I found it very touching. My last Jimmy Barnes performance was many years ago when he played a private show for delegates from Caltex Australia in Fiji ( or Mauritius) and he was fantastic then and superb even now! Thank you Jimmy Barnes 😊

Brilliant in a word, one of my favourite venues, so much more intimate. A different style of Jimmy but one of my all time favourites, he was so relaxed, at ease and it was great to see him surrounded by family all participating.,he thoroughly engaged the whole audience, brought back so many memories with his song collection. I’ve been a fan for over 40 years after emigrating to Australia and still today he is my number 1 artist. Just hope he can keep sharing his talent with us. The show took place on my birthday so it was a special occasion for me and one I’ll never forget. Great to see the age range of fans too, not just us oldies but all ages getting into the music. As I said, brilliant….

Best concert ever - loved all the songs selected and sung by the individual family band members, the inclusion of the bagpipes, the old hits and some new stuff soon to be released. Thank you for having Penrith on the tour schedule. Please do not retire the band as alluded to on Sunday night - instead consider another tour that might include places like the Orange Civic Centre (a great regional theatre). After being cheered up by the Jane Barnes Band's online performances during the bleak Covid years, I was thrilled to be able to hop on a plane and head over to Australia to see the band performing on the Saturday and Sunday night at Tallagandra . The venue was fabulous and the Barnes family put on an epic performance both nights. Songs included a Doris Day classic, some Creedence Clearwater Revival, some Cold Chisel favourites (the audience raised the roof when we sang along with 'Flame Trees'), Carole King, Righteous Brothers and The Fureys. We were entertained for more than two hours both nights and after the shows Jimmy, Jane, Mahalia and Jackie chatted with fans, signed merch and happily posed for photos.

Like always, the Barnes family put on a fantastic show. Music well that's on a level of its own. A Great Show Thank you for an absolutely Magical Night at Bowral on Monday night. Next is Mahalia + The Soul Mates.... 🤙Thank you🤙

This was Jimmy Barnes last show before his upcoming surgery and he didn’t let us down. I love seeing his family members playing and interacting together, love the Doley brothers, man can they play those keyboards! Interesting to see Jimmy in his hometown of Adelaide as I’ve always seen him in Queensland, his reminiscing of Elizabeth and the Holden factory really hit home, especially when he played Shutting Down My Town, I never really appreciated this song until that night, at the Adelaide 500, Holdens last outing! And Jimmys for a while too! Great tight band, great hits and appropriate audience interaction.

Great to hear Jimmy Barnes sounding like Jimmy Barnes. He definitely threw everything into it (great performance)...wish he'd slipped in a few of his classics (Flame Trees or even Shutting down our Town) but it was his Soul Deep sounds we were there to see, and the crowd loved it. We were sitting in the nosebleed section so the volume was not the greatest, could hardly hear some of the voices over the backup instrumental (not sure who the sound mixer was) but it was a great night out anyway.

I wish I had bought more expensive tickets. Sound was good. But venue needs a couple a large Video screens if they are going to use rear section of venue. Originally I bought tickets in the middle of the stage. Then ticketek moved us to a side section and to compensate one row forward..not really a compensation. Ordered a CD complete pack with a large T shirt..they shipped a small t shirt. Could not find signature on CD as ordered. In general support organisations let JB down

It's been so long since I've seen my Barnesy as they'd all been postponed but somehow the RHST was on and to say I was excited would be an understatement. Off we went and lined up like good soldiers,then thousands of us adhered to the covid guidelines so our concert wouldn't be stopped halfway through and that the other tours would proceed. So we sat like good adults and boogied in our seats,it was such a different rock experience by we were there and listening to live aussie music. All the bands were first class but a big special mention to Jon Stevens,he was definitely the almost best of the day,but that went to the Aussie legend that is the one and only Jimmy Barnes. Thankyou to all those that worked tirelessly to make this event happen,we are all so grateful. So keep a dancing and a singing and long live rock n roll 🥁🎶💜😺🎤

Having seen Jimmy on every visit he has made home over the last 15 years I have only missed one at King Tuts even after hanging on the phone for hours to be told all gone grrr but last night at the Garage was as memorable as it gets. it’s the best I have seen him with Jackie on drums he is phenomenal his guitarists were amazing and girls great as usual hope we get to meet you all next time you are here love to you all xxxx

It was a really good show. After watching him more times than I can remember, it was the first time I've sat and listened for an age. Perhaps coz that was b cause if travelled from the UK to do it! His voice doesn't have that succinct purity about it anymore, his well documented substance abuse and age has put pay to that; but when, at the age of 62, he still bowls 95% of his fellow singing peers out of the park; you have to take your hat off to him. He's carved his own path, when surely it could have been so easy to have joined Van Halen or AC/DC at some point, but he didn't, opting for instead, a large portfolio of original material, as was on display here.
