jeremy messersmith

As always, @jeremymessersmith and @dlawonn put on a great show at @glensheenmansion Concert on the Pier in #Duluth last night. Everytime we see these two perform, they never disappoint. jeremy's lyrics, combined with his smooth vocals, provide an escape into the songs story. The songs would would not be complete without Dan's cello (or bass) and backing vocals. I especially love the cello on 666! If only we could get an "All Hallows Eve" show at @sacredheartmusiccenter .......just sayin'

Jeremy never disappoints! The house concert is a fun and intimate setting where he shines.

This show was great. Jeremy & Friends were clearly primed for this. Besides a bunch of Jeremy's own songs, which are under appreciated outside his fan base, and which get the full string quartet arrangements with fine rock band support, there are always lots of fun covers with a Halloween theme and guest performers to liven things up. This year's finale of "Highway to Hell" wasn't the surprise it was last year, but it was still almost as much fun, and the whole band was into it, instead of just a bit tentative, like last year. (Of course the very idea of wuss-rock Jeremy singing this is almost as much of a snarky joke as some of his regular songs, but I think everybody enjoyed this and other covers). Other covers, like "Don't Fear the Reaper," and so on, were fun to hear, interpreted by this collective of fine performers. Don't miss it next year!

Great! Funny, charming, a very special show.

A delightful evening with excellent music and good humor.

Great intimate venue and Jeremy was wonderful as always!! The cellist/vocalist who accompanies him is just wonderful also!

Nailed it again the year! Thanks!!

Great show! We loved the opening act too. :)

Great show! Looking forward to hearing more new songs and witty banter from the live stage.

Such a great way to enjoy Jeremy's music!

Once again - loved the show! Jeremy, your voice is amazing.

The guy is great live. Alternately funny and serious, great rapport and down to earth. Would love to see him headline.

Jeremy is the new King of Pop! Not only is he hilarious, but his ability to write songs with great lyrics, melodies, and feeling is second to none. I cannot believe he is not more popular!
