Neither being fully contemporary or fully urban, D.I.S.C.I.P.L.E continues to push the boundaries of Gospel music in Australia. Accrediting Kirk Franklin as the trigger point to starting out, following the footsteps of the contemporary gospel songwriter seemed eminent. However trying to fund a team didn't seem practical for a 16 year old with no income, so venturing out into the urban sector of music was the plan to network, build rapport and find artists. As the years went on, the passion for hard hitting lyrics began to take over and contemporary music took a back seat for a season. In 2011, 5 years after starting out and a music diploma under his belt, D.I.S.C.I.P.L.E revived his contemporary aspirations with a twist of urban flows. Following the success of the debut album "In Their Shoes" - The Epilogue [2012], doors opened up that allowed D.I.S.C.I.P.L.E to branch out and minister on a wider scale. This led to becoming a support act for Kid Ink & Mary Mary. A tour in Ghana in 2013 was next on the agenda where D.I.S.C.I.P.L.E got reacquainted with his roots. The experience led him to change up his sound and write music that not only has a contemporary/urban flow but also incorporates some flavours of Africa. These flavours led to the conception of popular single "Chale How!?" Now going on to 10 years in this journey and multiple awards attained from different parts of the globe, the creativity and desire for the gospel to be spread will only continue for this theology breaking artist.
