Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 1978, AJ McLean's journey into the performing arts started early, with a focus on dance and an acting debut at age eight in the 1986 film Truth or Dare. His career expanded with roles in Nickelodeon shows like Welcome Freshman and Hi Honey, I'm Home! As an original Backstreet Boys member since 1992, he contributed to all their albums, including chart-toppers like Millennium (1999), Black & Blue (2000), and DNA (2019). Apart from the group, McLean, occasionally known as Johnny No Name, embarked on a solo career, releasing the debut album Have It All in 2010.
