The Zach Longoria Project is an 11-member band from Louisville with an incredibly soulful vein. With R&B seated at the core of their music, ZLP weaves elements of jazz and a touch of old-school this & that to create what they like to call “Kentucky Fried Soul”. Their music has just the right amount of the south mingled in. ZLP is a collaboration of musicians who are all in it for the love of music, and are driven by the passion of creating it. They came together in 2013 in a town that is much smaller than it seems. Zach had a vision early- to have a band that was made up of people who are good to each other and share the same set of values, musically and by virtue. This group is a close-knit partnership of kindred spirits, and it shines through in the music they put forth. In July 2014, ZLP released their self-titled album. They were also featured on WFPK, a Louisville radio station, where they participated in the “Live Lunch” series.
