For those that have never heard Lukas Nelson and POTR I recommend that you rush out and listen, buy or stream. Negatives - 1) As they were the opening band, the only played about an hour. WAY too short. 2) Venue was too loud, but I did get to use my ear plugs for the first time, making the sound perfect. But the highlight of the night was Lukas returning for the Gov't Mule encore and playing one of my favorite songs, C, S, N & y's Almost Cut My Hair and then, what may be my favorite song, Neil Young's Cortez the Killer.

Lukas Nelson was incredible! His voice was easy to listen to and in a few songs he was belting his vocals like none other. All band members were very talented. I especially loved the pianist and bass solos. Keep on coming to Northern California. I would definitely like to see him again!

Great set that included a hard rockin' rendition of "Bloody Mary Morning." All the musicians were excellent entertainers in addition to being skilled musicians. Nelson's live vocals were soulful, strong, and pure with a deep blues vibe that made me think of Marvin Gaye. Fantastic vibe with the audience with performance of "Find Yourself."

Great venue, incredible artist! I drove up 2.5 hours (and home after the show) to see Lukas, and it was worth every mile and every yawn on the way home. Truly incredible! Also kudos to the security folks who managed to get a pair of hooting and screeching women to tone it down, at least during the quiet songs! Truly excellent show. Please, bring him back again!

Lukas Nelson and his band played more songs and he said the audiences was very quiet and awesome.He means that DC audience the nicest one then any other shows that he and his band members went. He and his band members plays their lyrics a lot better than any other band’s. Because I notice that they never sing in bad words and anything that not appropriate. They play beautiful songs!

Lukas and every member of the POTR were amazing! As a fairly new fan of theirs, I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I found myself at one point in ny with my head in my hands, in awe of their talent, just taking it in. They sound just as good live as they do in studio, maybe better. Amazing guitar, bass and piano! They are incredibly in tune with each other and play like they've been playing together for 50 years. It was a top-notch performance, super fun, and gave us a night to remember. We will see them anytime they are in the area. My husband came home and tried to get tickets to their concert in New Braunfels next week because he's already wanting to see them again! Come back to Austin!

Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real never fail to put on an excellent, upbeat, exciting show and they didn't let anyone down at the Sandy Amphitheater on 30 July. The show was opened by Salt Lake City local Talia Keyes, and she really got the crowd amped up. Lukas played several tunes from their latest album as well as some of their classic hits. You just can't go wrong at a Lukas Nelson show!

Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real were absolutely great at the National. The band was tight and sounded great. They played everything I wanted to hear plus some new favorites. The crowd was enjoying the show and sang along when prompted. So glad I went. I will definitely see them again.

He is an amazing musician! His band & him are great performers. The venue is fine; the VIP section is tricky because poles block the stage & people stand in front of you . It felt safe & was clean Parking is a bit tricky as the entrance isn’t on the off ramp but a side street

Overall a good concert. I was not happy about the crowd being able to approach the stage and block the view of others. We had firnds owho love Willie Nelson and thought it would be a great idea to go and support his son. He is a very talented musician. The total concert experience was not so great. The staff did try to get individuals back tio there seat but was not very succesful. Guest from the balcony seats were in front of the stage. We paid to sit close to the stage but had our view blocked. We have been to several concerts here and this was our first time that this has happen. Thank you for taking the time to read this. The band was awesome as always!!! Minglewood Hall's AC was not working and it got real hot in there. I would hang out in a tornado to hear my favorite band Lukas Nelson and POTR!!!! A little bit of AC would have been nice for the band as well as the fans!!!!!!

AMAZING CONCERT!!! The energy was strong the whole time and the people in attendance were totally engaged. The music wasn't too loud, so you could understand all the words. All the songs had meaning and were very well written. Lukas and the boys are so talented, I will definitely go again. Fantastic job boys!

I had seen these guys the week before and couldn’t wait to see them again. I was telling anyone that would listen how great they were and was able to get a big group of our Thanksgiving gathering to attend the show. We secured a large portion of the first two rows. Lukas and the band were amazing, they might be my favorite band right now and I grew up listening to Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Petty, etc. So to say that Lukas is talented is to say that the Grand Canyon is a big hole. I love the whole marriage of his country roots with his passion for rock n’ roll. It works perfectly. I’m a classic rock fan first and foremost but there’s so much great music that comes before and after and out of rock that Lukas has woven together to find his unique sound. He’s channeling the blues, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and his own unique take on country tinged R n’ R. Don’t let the boots and hats fool you, these guys put on a rock show. The screaming guitar solos and sweet dance moves are worth the price of admission. I never stopped smiling and singing for the entire show. I don’t know if Lukas and the band recognized us from the week before or they could just tell that we were the biggest fans at the show cuz at the end of the night Anthony came up and handed his drumsticks to my son, then Corey came over and handed me his guitar pick, then Lukas came over and handed my son HIS guitar pick and then one of the members of the crew gave me Lukas’ setlist! It was one of the best days I’ve ever had, so much fun and can’t wait to see them again.

Wow! So great to finally see them on their own after seeing them backing Neil Young at Desert Trip and then their way too short set opening for the Rolling Stones 2019 Seattle show. My first time at the Ryman could not have been better. I so thankful to Lukas for developing his talent and surrounding himself with other talented musicians. I wish they had played "Bad Case" and could have gotten him to sign his first album that I brought, but that gives me just one more reason to see them again, and again, and again...... Two of our party were not familiar with his work with the POTR and were amazed. I had to battle flight cancelations, late rebooked flights (from Alaska) and shuttle cancelations and every frustration of the journey was overshadowed by entire experience of being at the Ryman for a show that exceeded my high expectations. I'm blessed!

Lukas kicked ass! It was a festival so he was limited on time and to some extent the content. Having said that they blew the roof off the place. Hands down the best show of Kaaboo. So happy and so lucky to have discovered Lukas before he becomes huge, though he really should be a lot bigger than he is. Favorites for us were Something Real, Bad Case and an d Bob Wills song his dad made families called Stay All Night (stay a little longer). If you love roots rock and don’t Lukas, you will soon!!

Even though the weather sucked all weekend in Austin, all was forgiven after seeing an outstanding show, Texas KGB is now a band I'll follow, love the bass player,, and Lucas my friend, I never knew you shredded the guitar like you did, you ROCK, awesome show, see you in Dallas

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real is my favorite band of all times. I saw them three years in St. Louis and again last night. Beautiful songs, energetic and fun entertainers, and I’m proud to be a Realer! Thank you for the music and for the peaceful and kind energy you put out into the world. ❤️
