Acerca De Blackbird Anthem
Blackbird Anthem is on a mission to help revive original southern rock music while giving back to the veteran community. Fronted by decorated combat veteran Adam C. Martin, Blackbird Anthem brings a unique sound and style to today’s music scene. Blackbird Anthem is a story telling rock and roll band with deep roots in Florida and Texas.
Since the release of their first EP "Stories I've Never Told" in 2015, they have continued to write, play, and record where ever the road takes them. Their first full length album, "Southern Ground" released in 2018 followed by the single, "Second Hand Smoke" in 2020.
2021 brought the release of two more EP's. The hard rocking "Whiskey Confessions" in June followed by the self-recorded "The Texas Tapes", a deep dive into their lone star roots drenched in fiddle.
Their music is available across multiple digital music platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and heard on many internet radio stations. Their combat inspired song, “Tonight We Ride”, was featured on the compilation album “Battle Cry: Songs of America’s Heroes” which charted in the top 25 of iTunes Rock albums the week of it’s release in March 2017.
They have toured across the U.S., supported multiple veteran charity events, and are currently booking across the United States.
Previous festivals and stages include: Thunder on the Ridge, CountryFlo Music Fest, Runaway Country Music Fest, Texas Frog Fest, Firehouse Saloon (Houston, TX), Orlando House of Blues, Coyotes Saloon (Augusta, GA), Gallopin Goose (Coolidge, AZ), The Light - Mandalay Bay Las Vegas, and more. They have opened for Corey Smith, Mark Wills, Scooter Brown Band, and more.
