Acerca De The 502s
The 502s
"The 502s are a charismatic indie folk band from Maitland, Florida and they've got enough energy to take on the world." - No Depression
"An ebullient blend of boisterous Americana, Orlando’s 502s strike a celebratory chord … they simply have got to embrace life for all that it’s worth, throw a dance party over it, and invite the whole neighborhood while they’re at it … an ebullient blend of boisterous Americana, featuring cheery singalong vocals and bubbly trumpet lines that could get anyone off of their feet." - Jonathan Frahm, PopMatters
"The folk-pop effervescence of the 502s recently blew the F up on TikTok with a viral video of their song “Magdalene” that racked up over a million views within two days of posting." - Bao Le-Huu, Orlando Weekly
“The band combines the melodic call and response choruses of The Head and the Heart and the crafty alt-pop of The Barenaked Ladies. Add in some roots music superlatives like acoustic instrumentation, plainspoken lyrics, and cadence style drums, The 502 are a soon to be a daytime festival favorite.” - Glide Magazine

This band had a great time on stage and was interactive but never stopped playing their songs, they came together beautifully and were so enthusiastic I loved every minute there

Amazing live band with lots of energy!!! What a fun show at Belly Up, which is a great space. I think the energy of the crowd fed the energy of the band and vice versa!! Lots of dancing in the crowd and on stage. Such a tight talented performance. Really incredible arrangements with many different instruments. This was a first show for me after they have been on my playlists for awhile. Looking forward to another show in the future!!!!
