Acerca De Dr. Jekyll (DnB)

Dr. Jekyll aka One Love Sound System is a DJ and Producer, veteran of the Washington DC/Baltimore/East Coast Raver scene of the early and mid 90s, influenced by the unique HarDCore, Ska, and Go-Go scenes in DC in addition to Rap, Industrial, Acid, and House music. He began DJing Industrial music in 1994 under the name hENRYviii and transitioned to include Trance, Ambient, Hardcore, Jungle, and IDM in his mixes. He hosted a weekly late-night radio show called ‘Digital Music from the Oppressed (and some Reggae)’ in Central Virginia for three years in the mid 90s. Prior to that, experimental production work was released under the moniker Ganja Beats and later replaced with One Love Sound System when another late artist was discovered to be calling himself the same. You'll find him spinning mostly Jungle but eclectic mixes can be found containing all types of early electronic music (and some reggae). He produces under other pseudonyms and genres and defies categorization at times. You are sure to hear one of his project somewhere soon.
