Probably the best music festival I've ever been to. I think it should have been made into a triple-disc DVD because of the extraordinary talent performing as well as the iconic legacies of the Canadian performers---so much Canadian rock history in one place. For example, Crowbar was great and it was one of their last performances; I never thought I'd ever get to see Corrina, Corrina live by Crowbar (RIP King Biscuit Boy). Same with Goddo. I'd never seen the Kentucky Headhunters or 54-40 before but I became a big fan of both. Mike McKenna and Slidewinder was awesome. Teenage Head and Colin James, too, and of course David Wilcox was great! Riverboat Fantasy was so good it takes me right back to HaveRock when I listen to the CD now. I can't even remember who the headliners were. I was so disappointed when they decided not to do it again the next year, or since. I hope the performances were videotaped and will someday be released.
