Extreme kicked ass! Great show! They performed better than expected, and their set list was awesome! Gary Sharone moves around the stage like he was born in Vegas, and Nuno Bettencort is easily one of the best guitarists on the planet! The bass and drums were tight and super heavy. I would definitely see another Extreme show.
Living Color had a great set list also, Vernon Reid and the band played great, but the lead vocals weren't mixed well. Corey Glover's voice sounds as good as ever, but we could barely hear it, and he seemed a little tired.
Overall, had a great time watching some badass musicians do their thing.
It was fun! =)

Extreme rocks live as does Living Colour. Ticketmaster on the other hand was having issues which cause me to have to mess around for 2 songs of the Living Colour set while trying to retrieve my tix off their app then waiting at the box office to have to get tickets printed....that was a bummer and Ticketmaster NEVER has helped me out in anyway when they have errored and they never will. I wish we could get rid of them because they bring the ticket price up too high and they DO NOT deliver a good service. The Bellwether was a cool venue too bad the ticket "error" happened for my 1st show there...venue was cool but hated the TM part of the experience. EXTREME & LIVING COLOUR put on ONE HELL OF A SHOW.

Extreme gets better with age. I remember buying the first album impressed by Nuno's guitar mastery. I am amazed at how much better the band has gotten from the first album to Six. They put on an incredible show. This is the third time I have seen Gary Cherone, the first two times being on the Van Halen III tour. He has lost nothing in his vocals and is still as energetic as he was in 1998. Watching Nuno play at close range had me amazed at how fast his fingers are on a fretboard. It was a great show, but not the best of venues.

This was an epic show. Epic performance. Veterans in peak form. I was always an Extreme fair weather fan. Knew the hits. Appreciated the talent etc. grunge came out and I quit listening to anything and everything from the 80s. I'm 50 now and have a completely different perspective on the music from the 80s early 90s. I love guitar rock. Mod rock grunge post grunge whatever is just different. Rise comes out last year and I was just blown away. Extreme are sincere. They mean it. And they are still producing new music that is relevant thoughtful and just plain great! Do yourself a favor. Go see them. Not many still around like this.

It's sad that it's taken me so long to see them. A fantastic show!! Gary us a great singer and brings a ton of energy!! Pat Badger is an under appreciated bass player. The dude is awesome!! Nuno, what's to say? The guy is easily one of the top 3 guitarists of all time!! His playing is on another level!! His acoustic solo was phenomenal!! They're harmonies are incredible!! What a great band. The only negative would be the venue. Casino shows are great in general, but I've yet to see one that had good acoustics. Extreme needs to play in a good, old theater with good acoustics. Great show!! Living Colour was a fantastic opener!!

Once in a while, a band comes along that is just on another level. That’s Extreme to me. Gary‘s voice is beautiful and melodic and in-your-face wonderful and sounds amazing. The harmonies from this band were beautiful and ethereal. Watching Nuno and Pat play the guitar was mesmerizing. And I’m always in a trance watching Nuno‘s fingers. Kevin on the drums was awesome. They put their hearts into their playing. The acoustic set was beautiful. I thought it was a great blend of old and new and I want to go to another concert now. I’d like to go tomorrow. I am still floating from my experience and I’ve had a permanent smile since yesterday. I was looking so forward to this for over six months. It did not disappoint. I burned over 1200 cal and did 17,000 steps dancing my ass off. Thank you Extreme.

Phenomenal show. The venue’s sound system was great, & the band has retained their youthful vitality , I’d swear it was the 1990s!
Did the VIP Sound check experience ; disorganized, took too long . Stood in line for over an hour. I will admit that once the sound check was underway, we were ok with the wait & very glad to be a part of this fabulous closed session… the band were engaged and responsive to their fans, just as humble & gracious as ever.
It’s incredible to see these guys still kicking ass as if 30 years hasn’t elapsed.

One of the best live rock n roll shows you could possibly go see, so go see them! Extreme & Living Colour are two of most talented bands to come out of the late 80's - 90's and are still bringing today! Both bands are extremely talented musicians with the ability to write songs that get the crowd out of their seats and singing along! Then the guitar solos kick in and Nuno & Vernon Reid both peel the paint of the walls when the solo, not to mention Doug Wimbish on bass for Living Colour - one of the best! Pat Badger is no slouch on bass for Extreme either! And the drummers for both lay down some awesome grooves to allow the rest of the band do their thing! Of course then there is Corey Glover on vocals for Living Colour - only just one of the most soulful hard rock singers in the business with an insane range and Despite 40+ years of rocking out, Gary Cherone of Extreme can still deliver excellent vocals and with Nuno and Pat providing on point harmonies its creates a lush sound rarely found in hard rock! Like I said before, go see them!

Venue in fact too small for such a band but nice to attend their show in a thight atmosphere. Great professional show. You could tell that they are on a world tour and they have to play the same show every night but what to expert otherwise? They sure gave it all, lots of energy, and hey they are all near 60 years of age… not a moment less energy nor skills, on the contrary. Only the lead vocal maybe but that evening also Gary was in good shape. I would rate a 4,5 but since there is no possibility to do that i’ll rate a 5 star. Shows with such skilled composers and musicians are rare these days. They rocked!

They were fantastic live. I've seen Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Slash, Richie Sambora and others live and Nuno Bettencourt was probably the most impressive. Funky, melodic, shred, heartfelt. Rest of band were great too. Gary is an athlete belting it out as he did for 2 hours and continually moving around the stage is incredible. He was good from start and got better I think as his voice warmed up. Pat on bass was also fantastic on back up vocals and drumming was also fab. Was a great mix of their best loved/well known tracks and new stuff. Loved they even did some of III sides. They were very humble too and the final part of show after last song, they stayed on stage to really soak up the audience and show their appreciation of them/us. They were as grateful of us as we of them. Special night.

Overall, pretty good concert.
LC had some mixing issues in the first few songs (lead vocals were difficult to hear), but they got those sorted and you could appreciate how good Corey Glover is live. Musically, the whole LC set was very good, and not just Vernon Reid on guitar…bass player and drummer were damn impressive as well. Very tight band.
Extreme had similar issues with the lead vocals throughout which they did not sort out and was annoying (quite a bit of feedback on Gary Cherone’s lead vocals, particularly on higher notes). Again, though, the music made up for it…and Nuno Bettencourt was ridiculous. What a guitarist. Pat Badger is an incredible bassist and k-figg on drums was very solid.

I was really looking forward to this show. I have always loved the tones and clarity on their albums and videos but the sound for this show was horrible. I don't know if it is the band fault or the venue. Probably the venue but I have been there for other concerts and the sound was great. The look of the show was great, just wish I could hear the vocals and guitar with crisp drums. I hope to see them again sometime at a different venue and hope for a better sound system.

Venue:
This was my 1st time at the Regency Ballroom, despite having lived in the Bay Area my entire life. There is ample street and lot parking within a few blocks. We sat in the balcony (old folks like to sit down). The view of the stage was very good, and the venue is intimate. The line to get in was insanely long for some reason (looked like slow security screening), so we missed Living Colour's first song .
Living Colour:
I had not seen them since the early 90's (Muzz Skillings was still bass player), but never stopped being a fan (and listening to them). Their performance was strong, genuine and played with the same precision that I remember from long ago - it was like time never passed. They played songs from Vivid (Open Letter to A landlord, Cult of Personality, Funny Vibe, etc.) and smattering from other albums/covers in a completely ferocious set. A key highlight was Corey Glover walking around the balcony during a song. When their set ended , all I could think was "poor Extreme, how the hell are they going to follow this?". Yes , they were that good.
Extreme:
Extreme rose to the occasion, and did indeed keep up with Living Colour. A 2+ hour set that was clearly (but incredibly tastefully) focused on Nuno Bettencourt (who has obviously become his own thing with things like Generation Axe and that Rhianna thing :) ) , but also giving ample spotlight to the rest of the band. EVERY song was with maximum intensity/sincerity, with just about everything I came to hear being played: Cupid's Dead, Rise, Rest in Peace, etc. This was not your typical "AARP age band tours for money thing" - Extreme's performance was all in, full commit and .. EXTREME!
If you are considering attending a subsequent show on the tour, rest assured you will get your money's worth

I saw this band in 1993 and 1995 in Salt Lake City Utah. Outstanding shows at that time. I made the drive from Salt Lake City to Anaheim to finally see them live again especially after releasing an incredible album Six! The concert will be a memory for a lifetime. I felt the song selection for the setlist was really good. The energy the band brought on stage was awesome! I seriously can say it look like they had not aged since I saw them in the '90s. The only new member was the drummer who I was familiar with when he played drums for Nuno on a couple of his solo albums and I absolutely loved him on those albums and he killed it during the show as well. I can honestly say I feel extreme actually cares about putting on a good live performance is obviously well prepared and as a member of the audience I feel that they do care about each and every fan. I highly recommend anyone to see this band and if they happen to read the reviews thank you for an outstanding evening at the House of Blues in Anaheim!

The Paramount is gorgeous, the staff was friendly, and Extreme's show was absolutely fantastic. Incredible muscians, incredible performers, an incredible show. Nuno's playing and intensity were phenomenal and left me literally awestruck. (and I caught a guitar pick that I will treasure!) I loved it when they pulled Kevin up front to play. Pat sounded great. I loved Nuno's tribute to EVH. Gary's energy was amazing. The selfie picture at the end was a great touch and made you feel like you were all a group of close friends having the best time of your lives. And the lyrics and passion often hit me on a level deep in my soul, as they often do. I couldn't have asked for better show. 3 Sides is my favorite of all albums, and this show has cemented Extreme as my favorite band.

Lifelong fan of Extreme. This was my second live show and it was 1,000 times better than even I expected, and my expectations were VERY high. Nuno is hands down the greatest guitarist God has blessed the planet with. Pat and Kevin were SPOT ON as usual. While Gary had an off night for vocals because, let's be honest, he's been screaming his lungs out for YEARS now, his stage presence and performance was stellar. To be in this theatre, surrounded by SO many fans that love, appreciate, support and admire this band the way I have for so long was a once in a lifetime mind altering experience. I cannot thank Extreme enough for the impact their music has had on my life. I'm 52 years young and I got to enjoy this concert for my birthday with a dear friend, my nephew and my son. Living Colour blew us away and the reception the crowd gave to both bands warmed my heart! Extreme - NEVER stop making music! Your gifts are too great to NOT continue to share with the world. Thank you for making this old rocker feel young again!

Incredible show! The mix of the new songs with the old favorites checked every box. I was thrilled to hear and see the new songs played live. They did not disappoint! The experience was enhanced by the intimate venue where you could feel the connection between the band and the audience. After the show, Nuno and Gary took time to shake hands and say a few words to fans. Nuno and Pat tossed guitar picks out to the crowds throughout the show and Nuno even tossed out hats he wore during the show. You could see the guys were genuine, approachable and remain humble even after their success. A bonus was seeing Living Colour as the opening act! They had so much energy that charged the crowd for Extreme. My daughter took a smoke break and chatted with Corey and I was lucky enough to meet him and take a few photos with him in the lounge after his set. Even the roadies were great. I was able to score Pat's set list and Pat and Nuno's guitar picks from one, I think his name was Randy. Even the guy at the merchandise table was great although he had a mile long line. It was definitely worth driving over 2.5 hours and rented a hotel room for the night to see them! I hope they will add a few more shows in the Maryland/ DC area since they canceled their appearance at the M3 festival I bought tickets for just to see them. I really want to see them again! Highly recommend seeing Extreme wherever you can!

As always the boys in Extreme deliver the goods. Fun on stage, talent up the wazoo and unbelievable songs.
This was an Extreme show for the Extreme fan. There Is No God and God Isn't Dead graced the set list along with all the fan favorites, Decadence Dance, Little Jack Horny and Whole-Hearted (you know... the Pornografitti fans). That being said, Take Us Alive and Tragic Comic also made the set list from their 5th and 3rd releases respectively. This fan would LOVE to hear other favorites like Unconditionally, Mother or Warheads.
Their catalog of songs is SO EXPANSIVE, yet every time I see them they feed me the same 12 songs.
Psssst, I STILL love them!!!

Great show. 25th anniversary of Three Sides to every Story meant they played a lot of songs from this album which you probably haven’t heard them play since touring when this album was released.
Also great to have been introduced to the Dan Reed Network. Their songs were somehow very new and also very familiar and immediately likeable.
One thing that was a shame was the sound balance when Extreme played. It was noticeable when Dan Reed Network were on as well but when Extreme were on and kicked the volume up a little the low end sound (ie not just the bass and bass drums) were so heavy it was killing the sound balance. Really disappointed that the sound check didn’t pick this up.
