Tedd Patterson is a DJ that other DJs listen to for inspiration. He has a distinctive sound that has been resonating in clubs across the world, and influencing dance music for decades.

In addition to regular gigs in NYC - Output, Flash Factory, Analog, Cielo, and Le Bain, Tedd also plays his signature blend of deep house, tech house, disco, and afro in clubs around the globe. His name is especially familiar to club-goers in Europe where he has mixed sets for packed dance floors at Ministry of Sound in London, Pacha in Ibiza, and with the Angels of Love in Naples. His big room sound has also been heard at Stereo in Montreal, Propaganda in Moscow, Ageha in Tokyo, and Gay Pride in San Francisco.

Though he’s often on the road, Tedd has always found his groove in New York, and industry veterans can hear in his music the influence of Sound Factory Bar, where he got inspiration from dear friend Frankie Knuckles. He has headlined everywhere from the underground hotspots Save the Robots and Sugar Babies to the destinations Club USA and Cielo. His often tribal, sometimes soulful, but always provocative sound has also been a fixture at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, where he was part of the all-star line-up of The Magic Sessions, with Little Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, and Dimitri from Paris.

Tedd’s work at Emotive Records during the heyday of New York dance music expanded his musical talents beyond the DJ booth and eventually led to his production debut, “Welcome to the Magic Session” on the iconic Strictly Rhythm label. His recent remixes/edits of Alicia Keyes “Common”, and Bjork “Hyperballad”, are reverberating on dancefloors and inspiring DJs everywhere.
