Acerca De Love Ssega
Some may recognise the name after Love Ssega lent his vocal skills to the Clean Bandit hits “Mozart’s House” and "Telephone Banking" which he wrote and co-produced. He was a founding member of the band and subsequently performed with them live on Jools Holland to the Other Stage, Glastonbury.
He’s now striking out as a solo artist with his full live band. His solo tracks have received BBC Radio 1 (Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart), BBC 6 Music (Lauren Laverne, Tom Ravenscroft), Beats 1 (Julie Adenuga) and online press has included support from Clash Music, Stereogum, High Snobiety, NME and Noisey. His debut "Minds EP" was followed up by the more expansive 8-track "Emancipation!" EP, out now.
He’s now striking out as a solo artist with his full live band. His solo tracks have received BBC Radio 1 (Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart), BBC 6 Music (Lauren Laverne, Tom Ravenscroft), Beats 1 (Julie Adenuga) and online press has included support from Clash Music, Stereogum, High Snobiety, NME and Noisey.
