I need more stars !!
Excellent concert. Yasi showed us what good music means. Her versatility, her perfection meanwhile shows a closeness to her master Steve Vai. Guitar playing is not enough for a virtuoso. This includes several points such as perfection, creativity, versatility... Melody and rock, two things that are difficult to combine, she manages to unite. She has it !! Not to forget her backing. A term I don't really like. Bassist Steffen Knauss and drummer/percussionist Christoph Scherer, two established musicians, both of them also active elsewhere, brought it all. The house went wild. I too will be raving again and again in the future.
The sound engineer deserves praise. Perfect this time. Last time, Yasi's voice disappeared slightly into the background. I told her the same thing after the concert. Great mixing this time.
Yasi's humanity is also commendable. After the concert she took a lot of time to chat with the fans.
Last but not least, the ambience. You really have to feel at home in the Musiktheater Piano.

Acerca De Yasmin Hofer (aka Yasi)
YASMIN HOFER – known as YASI since her first live experience as special guest with Steve Vai. All newspapers recalled the concert as sensational. Steve Vai himself called her a real sparkle. Right away, YASI casted her own band and recorded her first CD “Yasi Sounds Like Vai”. Successful gigs followed, including support shows for Chris Thompson and UFO. Meanwhile she quit school and started to study at a music college in Stuttgart. One year later she got a scholarship for the famous Berklee College of music in Boston where she studied one more year. She had lessons and Masterclasses with Guthrie Govan, Ernie Isle, Bryan Beller, Victor Wooten, John Stowell, Scotty Johnson, Jon Finn and many more. Coming back to Germany she appears as special guest in the successful classic rock band named Helter Skelter. At the moment YASI is working very hard on a new CD with which she is planning a tour through Europe. Yasi Hofer Official
