Incredibly fun show. Devon Kay and the Solutions have one of my favorite stage presences, and Small's is my favorite venue. If you like rock music and are down with horns, you won't regret seeing DK. Great gateway band to bring your friends to if they're undecided about ska!

I saw these guys Open for Streetlight Manifesto, and they were a lot of fun! The band was very talented, and kept it uptempo and fun the whole night. They seemed really excited to play for a full house, which was fun. The best part of the performance was the various stage antics they had going for them. The brass section milled around like fish in an aquarium, and the trombone player would occasionally bully other musicians by crowding them with the... trombone... thing. The keyboardist kept trying to do jumping splits the entire show. Overall it was a lighthearted, goofy, fun show that I very much enjoyed! I highly recommend seeing them if you enjoy ska music or just having a fun evening with a lively act on stage!

They are, quite literally, the world's greatest band. They did not disappoint. I skanked my lil heart out.

Acerca De Devon Kay & the Solutions
Devon Kay & the Solutions are the best band in the world. They blend punk/folk/ska/power pop and more into cosmic gumbo that will split your head in two.
One time they got signed to Pure Noise Records but then got dropped by them cause they rocked too hard so they made a ska EP that got released on Bad Time Records out of spite. Another time they toured the US with Less Than Jake & another they opened for The All American Rejects. They've played with hardcore bands, theater troupes and every other type of band imaginable. They don't care. If you give this band a stage they will blow you away. This band's history is wild and honestly, you owe it to yourself to be a part of it.
