Hostile are proud to come from the Midlands, the cherished birthplace of heavy metal. Recently the band supported none other than the mighty MEGADETH in Moscow, Russia to nearly 10,000 people as seen above as the band continue to grow ever stronger around the world. Hostile along with their mentor K.K. Downing headed to 'The Old Smithy' studios where 'Judas Priest' recorded 'Angel Of Retribution' (2003) and their masterpiece 'Nostradamus' (2008) to start work on their debut album “Eve of Destruction” which features none other than K.K. Downining (Judas Priest) who wrote and contributed the track “Addiction”, in an infinitely rare moment as K.K. has never written a song outside of Judas Priest before. This album was engineered by Richard Wood (Judas Priest 'Nostradamus') no less. Writing the album and working alongside K.K. proved to be an invaluable experience for Hostile and they certainly can now appreciate why K.K. says that metal is in his veins. With their debut album complete, Hostile embarked on an extensive UK tour supporting LORDI and headlined the 2013 Future of Metal gigs. In 2014 they were the sole support band for the entire UK tour with the awesome MACHINE HEAD and supported MANOWAR at the Magic Circle Festival Finland. 2015 to date have performed at the Midlands Metal Crusade IV and been main support to the famous BIOHAZARD. Throughout this period they continued to secure support slots with the likes of SOULFLY, MORBID ANGEL, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY and played DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL with their KKKK review by Kerrang no less. Their latest album “The New World Disorder”, again produced by K.K. Downing but this recorded at 3XB studios has seen 11,000 sales to date and counting as the band continue to tour the world with their upcoming tour of SWEDEN soon.
