Cook Bag Biography
"They sent us a link to their new single “June 4th”, and a few seconds into my first listen I knew this melodic punk band from Boston was something special"- DyingScene.com
Formed in late 2015 in Boston, Cook Bag hit the ground running playing local shows and soon after touring around the New England/East Coast region. To date they've had multiple releases including a demo, an Ep (titled 'Whiskey Teeth and Other Songs') and their latest effort titled "EP II". Before hitting the road in May 2017 their single "June 4th" caught the attention of punk blogs such as 'Dying Scene' and 'Punk News' and this exposure got their name out to the punk rock community far and wide. The band is showing no signs of slowing down heading into 2018 with a Spring tour that include a stop in Austin TX as a part of Boston radio station WEMF's SXSW showcase. With plans to record new material at the end of the tour the boys also plan on touring more and more, with an extended East Coast tour planned as well as a couple shows in the great white north.
