Wow--I had never seen them live and was worried they wouldn't live up to my expectations. Boy was I wrong--they were freaking amazing! Sounded great, great stage presence, looked like they were having fun (which is what you always hope for, as a fan), the venue was awesome, and the crowd was clearly stoked to be there. I definitely plan on seeing them live again, and will gladly make the 2hr. drive to The Forge for bands I want to see.

Such a great show Mike V was a badass. Don’t even miss Henry Rollins. Well not as much as I did before. Got to meet Mike and Gregg Ginn, and Charles. Awesome show and pretty cool venue.

Great show! Bummed Rollins is no longer with the band but wanted to see them play anyways. First time seeing Black Flag and they did not disappoint.

About Black Flag
BLACK FLAG is an American band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, CA by guitarist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member Greg Ginn. Their discography includes seven studio albums and two live albums. The band has released all of their material on Ginn’s independent label, SST Records beginning with 1981’s Damaged. Vocalist, Mike Vallely, first sang with the band as a guest vocalist in 2003, before becoming the band’s fifth vocalist and touring with the band in 2014.
