About The Unapologetic Kind
The Unapologetic Kind sprouted from Marley Erin, the songwriting vehicle for lead singer/guitarist Marley Shaver. It became solidified as a full band effort with the joining and contributions of drummer Nathan Crane and lead guitarist Tristan Auman.
The Carolina based alt-rock group recorded their debut album over the course of a year at Archer Avenue Studios, produced and mixed by Kenny McWilliams, and mastered by Nathan Hussey of All Get Out. Upon completion of the record in October 2019, bassist Robert Wilkinson was brought on board to round out the lineup.
Combining driving, melodic choruses comparable to Paramore and PVRIS, with a melancholic atmosphere, not dissimilar to Foxing or Movements, The Unapologetic Kind continues to extend their reach from Columbia and Charlotte to all throughout the Southeast.
