William DuVall

Few musicians have had a career as artistically diverse and successful as Alice In Chains frontman, William DuVall. From forming legendary Atlanta hardcore band Neon Christ as a teenager in 1983 to his tenure with west coast power-punk titans BL'AST!, his co-writing the 1995 worldwide pop radio smash, I Know, for Dionne Farris, his role as singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer for early-2000s underground rock heroes, Comes With The Fall, all the way to his 2016 supergroup collaboration, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, with Brent Hinds (Mastodon) and Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan), DuVall has carved out his unique place in the firmament for over forty years.

DuVall’s 2019 debut solo album, the critically-acclaimed One Alone, apropos to its name, is truly a one-man show, the singer and guitarist accompanying himself acoustically with no overdubs. That album was followed by a successful tour of precisely such intimate solo acoustic performances throughout the United States, UK, and Europe.

11.12.21 Live-in-Studio Nashville, DuVall’s second solo album, ventures completely in the opposite direction from One Alone, capturing an explosive electric power-trio performance cut live direct-to-disc at the famed Welcome To 1979 studio.

The year 2023 found DuVall once again exploring new sonic territory co-writing and co-producing The HU’s Top 10 Rock single, This Is Mongol (Warrior Souls) [feat. William DuVall of Alice In Chains].
