Maki Hsieh

A classically-trained violinist and 12-language vocalist, Maki Hsieh’s concert debut at age 15 was performing for Taiwan’s First Lady at the National Recital Hall. After classical music accolades including competition prizes and performing for Queen Paolo of Belgium, Maki’s dubstep violin and vocal Skrillex “Kyoto” remix made number one on Los Angeles, U.S. and Global electronic music charts for five weeks followed by her Seven Lions “Isis” remix. A lyricist and composer, her original debut single ”Burn On” has generated over a million streams. Maki sang the national anthem for Major League Baseball on FOX, appeared in a Cannes Film Festival film, and performed in over 300 festivals, venues and arenas including Special Olympics World Games, EDC at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for 100,000 fans, and NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Described as "one of the most tremendous talent of our time who makes aghast and brings to tears all who experience her muse,” Maki's debut album concert will be held at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center, where she also serves as Executive Director of the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation.
