Thompson & Boombox

This future-dance-groove outfit was simultaneously created within the rowdy dance floors and the private corners of the best party you have ever been to. Lead vocalist Brenny Boombox, pianist vocalist Jack Thompson, bassist Derek Ouimet, guitarist Mike Sheffer, and drummer Matt Magnani all came together hoping that their influences, ranging from Prince to Bruce Springsteen to The RX Bandits to The Mars Volta to Hall and Oates to Stevie Wonder, would all come together and create music that the world would recognize as new, but also distantly familiar. Thompson and Boombox wants the audience to know that they want a party just as much as you do - so they generously lend out a hand and warmly invite the audience to lose their minds in a world they helped design. A party everyone can feel responsible for. A genetically mutated hybrid of art, rock, pop, and dance.
