Rob Mirage Biography: From the dance floors of historical New York City nightclubs such as Limelight and Paladium, to DJ booths around the world, Rob Mirage has epitomized what dance music is all about for nearly two decades. Since the beginning of his career, Rob developed a unique sound that integrated the classic house characteristics infused with different styles he grew up enjoying. Inuenced by dance music legends such as Danny Tenaglia and Roger Sanchez, Rob found his niche in the realm of rhythmic tech house productions. Garnering the support of industry leaders like Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Mark Knight and more, this New York native continues to make a name for himself and his music. Over the past few years, Rob experienced a massive surge of success with his releases. His music has been featured on renowned labels such as Defected, Toolroom, Great Stuff, Stereo, and many others, with a discography proudly holding more than 150 in total releases and counting. Rob consistently charts the Top 100 with every release, as well as reaching the Top 10 on both Beatport and Traxsource frequently. In addition to his productions, Rob continuously maintains a tight schedule of hometown NYC gigs, playing only the most notable rooms in the city including Cielo, Pacha, and Sullivan Room to name a few. Rob also spends a lot of time traveling the world doing what he loves. Playing clubs all around the US, Canada, South America, Asia, and Europe has been a major highlight for his growing career. Aside from his individual music career, Rob's Nirvana Recordings imprint has also found much success and support. With a roster of artists such as DJ Chus, Supernova, Hector Couto, Danny Serrano, David Herrero and Rob himself, Nirvana releases are continuously charted by big names in dance music. The Nirvana impact continues to command respect and desire from many top tier artists who are eager to be signed to the label. Today, Nirvana has grown from Rob’s passion project to one of the biggest house music labels in New York at the moment and is continuing to grow.
