(Português) FINGERFINGERRR LANÇA DISCO DE ESTREIA “MAR” O duo de rock paulistano FingerFingerrr, formado por Flavio Juliano e Ricardo Cifas, lança seu primeiro disco, “MAR”, pelo selo Rosa Flamingo, da cantora Tiê. Produzido pelo duo e Fernando Sanches (Marcelo Camelo, Mallu Magalhães e Hurtmold), mixado por Mario Caldato Jr (Beastie Boys, Björk, Beck e Planet Hemp) e masterizado por Robert Carranza (vencedor de quatro Grammy’s) o álbum traz dez faixas autorais. O primeiro single do disco é “Eu Só Ganho”, faixa que ganhou vídeo gravado em Nova York pelo diretor, roteirista e hacker John Threat, que já trabalhou com grandes nomes como Miley Cyrus e Diane Martel. A música também está na programação da conceituada KEXP, de Seattle, EUA. Em seu álbum de estreia, o FingerFingerrr dispara riffs e personalidade musical em atmosferas punk, pop, hardcore, electro e psicodélicas. As letras autobiográficas e incisivas marcam a audição e transitam entre o inglês e o português. Antes de entrar em estúdio para produzir “MAR”, o duo lançou “The Lick It EP” (2012) e fez diversos shows no Brasil além de quatro turnês pelos EUA, que incluíram performances em cidades como Nova York, Chicago, Nashville e Houston, em espaços seminais como Arlene's Grocery, The Bitter End e Cactus Music. O EP também foi citado em diversas publicações, o clipe da faixa “Punksy” entrou na programação da MTV2 norte-americana e a música “Find a Way” integrou a seleta playlist in-store da loja Urban Outfitters em todo os EUA. Em 2016, o duo fez shows em grandes festivais nacionais como SIM São Paulo, PATH (SP), Solstício do Som (RJ), Contato e Bananada (GO), um dos maiores eventos de música independente do país. Em março deste ano, o FingerFingerrr participou do festival SXSW, em Austin (Texas) e do Treefort Music Fest, em Boise (Idaho), e concluiu a turnê tocando em Seattle e Portland com as bandas The Shivas e Death Valley Girls. Em maio, além de participar da Virada Cultural de São Paulo, o duo embarca em sua primeira turnê pela Europa, com shows no festival Primavera Sound (Barcelona) e Portugal. PAULO Caderno 2 (English) FINGERFINGERRR RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM “MAR” Rock duo FingerFingerrr, from São Paulo, Brazil, release their debut album “MAR” through label Rosa Flamingo, owned by #1 Brazilian hit singer, Tiê. “MAR” was produced by Fernando Sanches (Marcelo Camelo, Mallu Magalhães, Hurtmold), mixed by Mario Caldato Jr. (Beastie Boys, Björk, Beck, Planet Hemp), and mastered by Robert Carranza (4-time Grammy winner). Since their first EP in 2012 and 2015 single “Buck You”, FingerFingerrr has dabbled and dove into rock and surrounding genres. “MAR” brings together all of Flavio Juliano’s (bass, guitar, vocals) and Ricardo Cifas’ (drums, keys, vocals) influences into one raging punk, pop, hardcore, electro, psychedelic 26-minute long, 10-track album. Before going into the studio to track “MAR”, FingerFingerrr performed a number of times in Brazil as well as four tours in the United States, including shows in New York, Chicago, and Nashville, earning the band a spot in the nationwide Urban Outfitters in-store playlist, a video on rotation on MTV2, gigs at seminal venues such as Arlene’s Grocery, The Bitter End, and Cactus Music Record Store, as well as a performance on NPR radio in Houston. With the release of “MAR” in July 2016, FingerFingerrr upped the ante and harnessed all the attention gathered since their beginning. The duo have already played major festivals all over Brazil, such as Bananada (the country’s biggest independent music festival), Contato, Solstício do Som, PATH, and SIM International Music Festival – and, of course, a number of high-energy gigs. Internationally, FingerFingerrr played official showcases at SxSW 2017 – embarking on their 5th tour of the US; Treefort Festival in Boise, Idaho; Primavera Sound (Pro) in Barcelona – undertaking their first European tour, with dates in Portugal and Spain; and Northside Festival in Brooklyn, NY. FingerFingerrr’s lead single off “MAR” is the punk-track “Eu Só Ganho”, with accompanying music video directed by John Threat, an American writer, director and hacker, who has worked with the likes of Diane Martel and Miley Cyrus.
