She is now back and readyto rock with My Beautiful Disaster , showcasing her powerful and broad vocal range. Donnie James is from Nederland, TX and has been playing drums for over 35 years. Ron Sons plays rhythm and lead guitar for My Beautiful Disaster. Born and raised in Port Arthur, Ron was introduced to guitar at the age of 7. He pursued music throughout elementary, junior high, high school, and college playing the Trombone. Ron was a founding member of The Roadside Prophets and Loaded Cross and is the creator of Roadside Studios, a state of the art recording studio. His musical influences include; The tragically Hip, REM, U2, and Soul Asylum. Rons musical training and versatility on the guitar and bass bring character and competence to the band. Ken Hale was born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas. He Began playing acoustic guitar at 16. At that time his influences included Neil Young, Yes, Led Zeppelin, etc. After graduating from High School, he moved to Austin and was introduced to other music styles including punk, ska, and reggae. While in Austin, he became associated with other musicians and began playing electric guitar. After a few years of "garage" bands, he got married, went back to school, had a daughter, and took a hiatus from music. When his marriage ended 9 years later, he began to take music more seriously becoming interested in digital recording and setting up his own home studio (Rude Boy Records). Ken formed a reggae/rock band and for 2 years, played parties, weddings, and small clubs as well as recorded and produced multiple songs. After disbanding, Ken took up playing the bass for several bands. This experience has led him to the founding of "My Beautiful Disaster." We are a PARTY VARIETY BAND.....playing today's hits including Rock, Dance, Pop, R&B, Rap and Country. We'll keep U dancing till U just can't dance no mo'.
