Burn In The Forest (BITF) is the Greater Vancouver Interactive Arts Society’s (GVIAS) annual summer event that takes place in the beautiful surroundings of the Squamish Valley, an hour’s drive north of Vancouver, British Columbia. Stretched over a kilometre of riverbank and surrounded by towering evergreens, snow-covered peaks and picturesque waterfalls, hundreds of participants come together to create a Temporary Autonomous Zone inspired by the Ten Principles of Burning Man and the unique landscape that we have the privilege to call home for 4 days.
