Arbiter

Arbiter has been making metal music together since 2008, and, welp, they still are. After various lineup changes, Arbiter returned to their original lineup of three funny, awkward metal dudes by 2016, somehow getting out of the "core" and "djent" movements alive. Arbiter's discography of straightforward modern metal contains lyrics spanning from inspiration to hopelessness, failure to victory, solemnity to hilarity. Arbiter represents the average, every day young adult, rough around the edges, just trying to do their best for themselves and others. Thus, Arbiter has found a strong supporter base of like-minded metal fans, and the band's sense of humor keeps the connection flowing even when nothing else does. Regaining their independent status by 2016, Arbiter would release their first original material in years, a tribute to the entire journey musically, and a tribute to the future of every single Arbiter fan—and band member—lyrically. Comprised of adults now—with children, steady jobs, and attending college, Arbiter's future as a band remains hazy, yet with no pressure, there can be no disappointment, and Arbiter raises their shot glasses to the future, no matter what may come.
