Fourth and Folsom

After 4 years of developing their sound behind closed doors, Fourth and Folsom are ready to release their debut album. They’re a five-piece band heavily influenced by the West Coast music scene, consisting of Jamie Davies (Vocals/Multi-Instrumentalist), Theo Byrd (Vocals/Guitar), Jack Manser (Vocals/Multi-Instrumentalist), Kristjan Cavdarovski (Bass) and Hannah Feenstra (Drums) Four years ago, vocalists Theo and Jamie were playing together previously playing under the stage name "Wildcuts", and spending the early stages of the project honing their harmonies within the London folk circuit. This duo was continued until a tour of the UK in 2013, where the band met with singer songwriter Jack Manser and asked him to take part in their project as third vocalist/bass. The renamed project Fourth and Folsom was born with a signing to UK Independent Label Animal Farm. After experimenting with different genres in their live show, the addition of a drummer and the departure from their label, they continued until happy enough to start working on recorded material. Taking to their home studio with their unique sound in December to record their self produced debut album. The band have since enlisted Kristjan and Hannah to their live show playing their matured album material. The two singles first released off the album were well received, with ‘Iowa’ being premiered by Earmilk, and ‘Golden Dunes’ being premiered by Tone Deaf in Australia. As well as being made part of Tom Robinson’s Introducing Mixtape on BBC Radio 6. After a brief hiccup with various studios and press companies, the band mixed the album with producer Thomas Le Beau Morley in his North London Studio. With the album now finished and due to be released this autumn under their own label 'Milk Moment Records', the band are excited to debut the result of their hard work in a live setting, and will be booking multiple UK gigs to tie in with the release.
