During the last few years, Tampere metal band Amendfoil has enjoyed skyrocketing fame having performing gigs and releasing their debut album "Skyline Escape" with superb feedback from audiences and listeners all around. Finnish music magazines and webzines have several times deemed the band as a prodigal child, about to gain huge momentum in Finnish metal scene. So far, the band's releases have achieved five stars from almost each review had. Amendfoil's music videos have reached tens of thousands of viral hits on YouTube. Not only this, but the possibility for a sneak preview on Soundi.fi gathered over thousands of online listeners in mere days. On top of all this, Amendfoil records and produces all its music itself. Original artwork of the upcoming album and even the guitar that he plays, are both handiwork of front man Lassi Mäki-Kala. It just goes to show the band's true DIY-spirited nature in expressing itself both in musical and visual context. After several hundred venues played, all the way from touring Europe to performing at on main stage at Finland's biggest metal festival Tuska, booking is set on standby.
