Jake Dreyer Biography

Jake Dreyer is the lead guitarist for Iced Earth and Witherfall. Jake is a Progressive/Instrumental Metal guitarist whose passion for playing way too many notes, writing obnoxiously long songs, and an energetic on stage performance has seen him entertain audiences around the world. In April 2011, Jake released his first solo instrumental EP “In the Shadows of Madness” produced by JJ Crews and featuring Adam Sagan (Into Eternity, Circle II Circle) on drums and Noah Martin (Arsis) on bass guitar. In September of 2011 Jake joined the band White Wizzard and began a one-month North American tour with Firewind, Arsis, and Nightrage followed by a two month European tour as direct support for Iced Earth. Jake is featured on White Wizzard's album, "The Devil's Cut," released in June 2013. In October 2013, Jake Dreyer left White Wizzard and formed WITHERFALL with vocalist Joseph Michael and drummer Adam Sagan. In June 2014, Jake played guitar for Kobra and the Lotus on the Def Leppard and KISS tour. He joined KATL again on their tour with Gus G and Kamelot in September 2015. In February 2016, Jake recorded guitars on KATL's double album Prevail I + II produced by Jacob Hansen. WITHERFALL completed their debut album in Summer 2016 slated to be released TBA.
