Mixing horror punk and metal they were an obvious choice for the local support. The band delivered a great set despite the largely unresponsive Wednesday night crowd. I particularly enjoyed Hal Steadman’s baritone vocals which were reminiscent of Glenn Danzig or Jim Morrison. Some highlights of the set included the catchy “Devil Inside”, “Repent and Obey” and set closer “City of Wolves”.'' (MIDLANDS METALHEADS 2017) http://www.midlandsmetalheads.com/review-doyle-the-dead-xiii-and-in-dantes-eclipse-mama-rouxs-birmingham-1-february-2017/ "Just as we have Aiden cruelly prized from our cold, dead fingers, In Danté's Eclipse emerge to jump in their freshly-dug grave. Hellbent on lacing their furious licks with devilish venom-spitting from frontman Hal Steadman, these five Wolverhampton misfits may be the melodic offspring of HIM and the morbid successors of The 69 Eyes, but they're in a whole brutally sinister realm of their own." (Ali Cooper - Metal Hammer 2016) "In Dante’s Eclipse take to the stage. I’d never seen the guys before and really enjoyed the six song set. The songs were well crafted and the band is really tight. It was a pretty in your face full on performance from a band who certainly knows how to not only write a tune but deliver it live. Vocalist Hal Steadman has a real Jim Morrison swagger about him and lurched around the stage quite menacingly at times. This was a superb introduction to a band who not only myself but hopefully all of us will hear far more from in the future." (Damian Sullivan - Volume Music 2016) "In Dante's Eclipse are all so young but were highly polished and professional. They looked the part for starters, had enviable stage presence, and were ludicrously tight as a band. They possessed a wide crossover appeal making their music accessible to fans of gothic, punk, sleaze, and to a degree glam amongst others. If you like Spit Like This, Deadfilmstar, or Gundogs, chances are you'll like them. Unusual covers (Chris Isaak and Misfits) were interspersed with their accomplished original material. With more of their own material and the right people around them I can envisage them being a huge success. An exciting prospect and definitely a band whose name you'll be hearing a lot more of in the future." (Midlands Rocks 2012) Wolverhampton based Heavy Metal 5 piece .
