Feral Depravity Biography

Born in the summer of 2007, guitarist Lorenzo and bassist Joeleosis formed Feral Depravity with the interest of creating metal that exposed the dark comedy found within the actions of mankind. After a year of lineup changes, they recruited Lorenzo's cousin Fernando for drum duties. He quickly caught onto the songs with his hummingbird blast beats and a newfound taste for metal, going right to work playing the local venues. After spending a few years bringing their flavor of comedy and brutality to the local scene, they self-produced and released their first album "Defiler Of Innocence." on their newly formed label Frogass Entertainment. With it's accompanying music video and and the introduction of free condoms at every show, Feral Depravity utilized DIY promoting and organizing their own shows to spread their message of death metal comedy. In 2012, they released their second album "The Dangers Of The Human Libido", co-produced/engineered with Grammy Award winning producer Michael Rosen. "Libido" marked a new era of experimentation and genre fusion for Feral D, with guest accordion and tuba on "Jailbait Polka" and saxophone on the track "Of Sweat and Perfume". Immediately following, they completed their first week-long tour across the Northwest to distribute the new release. Along with a long string of kickass shows in the local underground metal/punk scene, 2012 turned out a great year for Feral D. 2013 marked a great year of touring and releasing a split with long-time friends Hemorage from San Francisco. After short hiatus, Feral D is back in the studio recording dozens of new song demos and back to hitting local venues with the force of a million nutsacks. While still rooted deep in extreme metal and focused on the strife of humanity, Feral D continues to experiment with other genres of music and digs deeper to find whimsy in our misfortunes. Dicks.
