The Controllers Biography
The Controllers are a four-man band emergent from lead vocalist, Zac Connelly’s parents garage. The Controllers new EP Animals is out March 20th. Opening with the punchy lead single ‘Nina Feel In Love’, the five-track EP offers a mix of punk-rock riffs and melodic choruses. 'Nina Fell in Love' also comes with a brand new video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrjckP7VMDc Animals is the follow up to their debut EP which spawned their ‘Regression’ video/single premiering on Rage and charting at #13 on the triple j Unearthed Radio chart, alongside their ‘Twins’ single making it to #17 on the overall triple j Unearthed Radio chart. Inspired by artist like Violent Soho, Against Me! and The Refused, the Melbourne based four-piece have been playing together in some form or another since their early school years. Taking out their first ever battle of the bands comp in year 7 under the name Happy Accidents (lovingly known as Nappy Accidents), they decided on a name change to The Controllers before their first official release.
