Mr. Projectile

After receiving great acclaim for his work on mp3.com, Minneapolis resident Matt Arnold, better known as Mr. Projectile was snapped up by cult electronica label Toytronic. This relationship flowered and gave us the beautiful 'Pug Times' which was thrown out on a luscious slab of white wax. Since this release, Matt has tickled our earlobes with tracks on the sublime Benbecula, the clicky housey Parotic and of course, his new home Musik Aus Strom.

Most recently Matt's music came to our attention on the Musik Aus Strom/!K7 compilation 'Mas Confusion' which has been a staple for Default goers for some time now. In fact, his track 'less math, more music' was used a tagline for the record and bears a sentiment which rings very true to our ears.

Ever seeking new ground, Matt has recently taken to releasing his own music as well as tracks by other artists such as Ian Ginsing on his own record label, Semisexual.
