Manifesto Dundalk

Manifesto comprise of Jamie Cummins (lead vocals/guitar), Chris Morgan (backing vocals/bass), and Brendan Harlin (drums). Formed in 2009, the band has been making waves in the Irish Music Scene since its founding, with Highway67 Magazine hailing them as “The most outstanding young band in Ireland”. Manifesto, at 15 years old, was the youngest band to receive a slot at the Irish music festival ‘Vantastival’ in 2011. Since then the band has played support to major acts such as Duke Special, Bipolar Empire, Glen Hansard and Thin Lizzy, performing across the country including the main stage at the Volvo Ocean Race. As well as this, the band were requested to perform for President Michael D.Higgins at the launch of Dundalk Youth Centre, and were highly praised by the President for their performance. Having released two E.P.s of very different musical styles (The 27 Club (2011) and Jack's Ghost (2014)), in early 2015 the band finally solidified its sound, combining breezy riffs with a variety of moods (and a touch of pop sensibility) to create what can best be described as a surf rock sound. Currently in the process of recording a third E.P., and with eccentric, energetic live performances impressing audiences around the country, all signs point to Manifesto finally entering into its element.
