GEO DA SILVA is a romanian DJ, MC, VOCALIST, ENTREPRENEUR AND ENTERTAINER PAR EXCELLENCE As an artist and producer, he makes music that rocks the coolest clubs and yet sits proudly on top radios. To see Geo wind a room into frenzy is something special. His sets are so dynamic that at times it’s difficult to see how he can keep the energy up. To put it simply, Geo Da Silva creates moments. Constantin Gheorghe (Geo Da Silva in art) was born was born in Timisoara the 12th june. His first mixing adventure was back in 1994, as a warm up DJ in the clubs near Timisoara. Four years later he could already be found as a resident DJ in Eforie Nord’s most trendyest club at that moment on the romanian seaside With the new millenium in the summer of 2000, began a new Era also for Geo who switched his work place to Disco Ring Costinesti, a very popular club and became an MC. The experience of that year made his career take off, so he became a resident and project-manager one day per week at a disco, day which became well known in Discoland Timisoara - ''The Thursday Power-Student Night" .One year later, he became the general artistic manager of the club. In the summer of 2002-2003, after another one spent in Disco Ring he met a Dj who proposed him to work at Disco Tineretului. Since then until 2007 he worked there as one of the main residents from june until august and during the rest of the months, started attending events around the country but also around Europe. Realizing the importance of recording he came with a new concept in 2004 the Funky DJ’s, launching 3 records with two other DJs. So they released „Stai” (Stay) , „Planet Funk” and „Romania Danseaza” (Romania’s dancing) in 2004, „Doar tu si eu” (Just you and me), „Daca ai vrea” (If you’d like to) and „Rumena Paradis” in 2005. This songs became more and more known, so he decided to start a solo career by launching an album in 2007 (preceeded by a collaboration with Lavinia „Loca” that became one of the most loved hits that summer) which would have made him become famous all around the world with one of it’s singles „I’ll Do You Like a Truck” one year later. This song became one of the most loved Summer Hits of that year and perpetuated it’s presence in the top of the charts for a long long time. The world tour started from Mykonos in 2008 and spreaded in other 25 countries, like the U.K., Italy, the U.S.A., France, Germany ,Israel, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Mexic, Russia, Singapore, Holland, Haiti, Serbia and so on, and brought him contract with famous music labels such as Cat Music(Romania), Ministry of Sound(Germany and U.K.), Universal (France and Czech Rep.), Ultra Records (U.S.A) and Time Spa (Italy). This super HIT became the soundtrack of the tv show „The Office” on NBC channel, and of a national greek series named:Lakys o Glykoulis on Mega Channel. His many years of experience and the success of his music made him think of a new party concept in 2008 „Juerca Loca” that helped him fascinate and make his fans feel really go crazy around the old continent and mostly in Costinesti, where he finally became the owner of one of the places that helped him grow up as a Star: Ring Discoteque. That same summer, Cat Music presented his real debut solo album "RING Discoteque by GeoDasilva", the album contains 11 songs and each one of them was warmly received by the movers, shakers and taste makers in the clubs along the Black Sea coast . In the summer of 2010 he launched another album from Mykonos that made people party all summer long at the Space Club on the greek island but once again also around the world. The most popular were ”Bellezza”, „I like the girls who drink with me”, „Bulu Bulu” and „Crazy” , „Another Toy” , „Param Pam Pam” and „How Many Shots”. He collaborated with names like:Cj Stone , Voodoo and Serano, Kid Chriss, Plastik Funk and Sahara. But his actual team is made by:Lil’Lee (singer,composer,author and writer), Dj.Flipper, Dj.Magnum, Dj,Saftik with the collaboration of Tony Ray(Romania), Dj.Manuel Costa and Dj.Sammy Love from Italy, Dj.Gogos and Dj.Angela Pandelis(Greece), Dj.Manny from New York(U.S.A.) , Royaal(Australia), Alex Forbes(USA), Tony Tomas(Norway) and many more. He will release his much-awaited new album in june 2012, of which you can already have a taste through the single „Hey Mr. Get Up” with his friend-Saftik. It will be a work result of many collaborations, such as WaWa, Saftik, Alexandra Damiani, Yuval Bittoun, LuckyStars, Menegatti & Fatrix vs Jack Mazzoni and many many other DJs but also some fans, which is something new.
