Everley is a five-piece Indie / Experimental/ Post-Hardcore band from Knoxville, TN. Their full length debut album was released on June 10th, 2014. The album concept is about contrasting perspectives, and situations that we (as humans) might encounter throughout our lives. "The Tyger" and "The Lamb" are contrasting poems written by William Blake that give alternate perspectives on life. They are each apart of a collection of poems; "The Songs of Innocence" and "The Songs of Experience." The theme of the album is the struggle between the alternate perspectives of multiple circumstances. The album has content based in people's stages and perspectives in life; being the fear of faith, addiction, selfishness, family issues, coming to faith, and other content. "The Tyger and the Lamb" is a compilation of experiences intended to shed light on our spiritual existence. This album shares various experiences people are capable of going through; different views, different questions. Overall, this album gives contrast to different sides of the spectrum. The Tyger and the Lamb encompasses fear, faith, fear of faith, selfishness, manipulation, doubt, entitlement, abandonment, and perception. The full length album was recorded in Louisville, KY by Jordan Haynes and mastered by Kris Crummett. The album is available on iTunes, BandCamp and other online stores.
