The Soho Hobo Biography
Biography Singer, songwriter musician and all round ‘Soho commentator’, Tim Arnold 'The Soho Hobo' has his family in roots in English music hall and variety, and is best known as the official rock n roll minstrel of London's West End. Born into an arts and crafts family of theatricality, he began writing his first vignettes about Soho whilst working on Great Windmill Street as a teenager, walking every walk of life that this square mile has to offer. Signing his first record deal with Sony when he was 19. In 2010, Tim embarked on his first book ‘Soho Heroes’, with photographer Andy Fallon, a who’s who of the people who have made Soho what it is today. Out of this project, his new album, band and new identity ‘The Soho Hobo’ was born. A collection of songs about Soho past and present, as described by The Express “possibly the concept album about Soho that Ray Davies never wrote.” The album features duets with Gary Kemp, Jessie Wallace, Phil Daniels and Lisa Moorish. Tim’s creative work in and about Soho as made him a much loved and respected member of the community, performing regularly at Soho Theatre, video shoots at Ronnie Scott’s and numerous appearances at many local events, including presenting the BBC1 TV documentary Inside Out. The Soho Hobo album is due to be released in 2014. This is a Facebook Page for the album 'The Soho Hobo' by British solo artist Tim Arnold
