OffBeat Revolution Biography
Offbeat Revolution was started in 2008 by Alex Goldberg (Bass), Nick Pauly (Guitar), and Robbie Austin (founding drummer) when they were high school freshmen in Colorado Springs. The band gigged heavily around the Rocky Mountain region from 2008-2011 and in 2012 the band took a hiatus. Now ten years later in 2018, Offbeat Revolution is back with a refreshed sound and refined musicianship. Nick Pauly had success around Colorado from 2012-2014 as a solo artist and also played guitar in Red Sage (2016-2017), an established Denver based reggae-rock outfit. Alex Goldberg studied bass performance at CU Denver and plays in the Austin Young Band, a successful blues trio and staple in the Rocky Mountain Blues Community. Matt Lindstrom (drums) is a multi-instrumentalist and life-long friend of Goladberg and Pauly. His background is in saxophone, drums, piano, hip-hip and rapping (check out his solo project Elipses). Offbeat Revolution has shared the stage with: The Skatalites, Tribal Seeds, Stick Figure, Through the Roots, Ballyhoo, Three Legged Fox, Tatanka, Tomorrows Bad Seeds and various other touring reggae acts. Collectively Nick and Alex have shared the stage with many other major reggae artists such as Tropidelic, Morgan Heritage, John Brown’s Body, The Late Ones, Fortunate Youth, The Hip Abduction and more. Denver based funky soul reggae! New single 'I Tried (A Million Times)' dropping in April
