CATTANEO Biography

Musician, songwriter and electronic performer.
He publishes his debut album "L'Anima del Cipresso" between the song form and the world of soundtracks. The following EP "Nero" was produced by Hugo Race, lead guitarist of Nick Cave.
In 2007 the album "L'Equilibrio Non Basta" was published by V2 Records: Omar Pedrini hosted it in the Rai 2 CD-live program and opened the concerts of Niccolò Fabi and Gianna Nannini.
In 2009 the album “Adorami e Perdonami” was released, while the following one “Il Gioco" distanced the author from the intimate aspects of his early works. The video clip "Sei qui per me" directed by Daniel Marini won the Italian Videoclip Award for best photography .
In 2013 he released "La Luce Nelle Nuvole", nine songs that wink at synth pop.
In 2014, together with Maestro Mauro Montalbetti, he wrote the soundtrack for the short film "Gallery A" by director Ruggero Loria. Rai uses "Incastri" for the Ecogreen teaser and "Il Gioco" as the soundtrack of the promo video "Happiness according to Mazzacurati".
The videos "Trasparente" (with the theater-dance performer Carlo Massari of C&C Company) who won the Paris Music Video Underground, "Bandiera" (interpreted by KARMA B) and "Due età a time" in a single take.
Paolo Cattaneo is also a member of the electronic duo Jay Perkins who released the albums Decay and Release for Ala Bianca, on the borderline between electronics and improvisation, sonorization and experimentation.
