Wendy's Surrender Biography

Founded in 2009, Wendy's Surrender hails down from the cold hills of Eastern France, They play a raw, passion fueled, groovy paced Hardcore. Driven by PMA and DIY ethics, these 5 guys rather do things by themselves instead of sadly waiting for opportunities to come their way..
They blend a wise mix of Old School and more recent Hardcore, backed up by a groovy rythm section. Cyril's vindicative high pitched voice, who freshly joined the band in early 2015, brings a positive dynamic to the heavy riffs the band plays, reminding you of both 7 Seconds and Gorilla Biscuits.
They shared the stage with many international (Agnostic Front, Knuckledust, Vitamin X, Youth Brigade, Get The Shot, Roadside Bombs, etc) and National (The Boring, The Rebel Assholes, Wake the Dead, Street Poison, etc) Hardcore and Punk acts.
In 2014, the Band put out a 12inch effort with a Split EP with fellow Rockin Hardcore comrades Swamp Sharks (distributed by Kanivo Chaos and Mighty Worm). A new 7inch is on the way, which will come out in the beginning of 2016.

Formé en 2009, Wendy’s Surrender descend tout droit des froides collines de l’Est de la France et joue un Hardcore dynamique, brut, plein de passion et de sueur. S’inscrivant dans une démarche old school et positive, les cinq préféreront toujours aller de l’avant plutôt que se complaire dans le défaitisme, faire les choses eux-mêmes plutôt que d’attendre que quelque le fasse pour eux.
Wendy’s Surrender distille un savant mélange de Hardcore Old School (SOIA, Agnostic Front) soutenu par une rythmique plus moderne et groovy (Rotting Out, Backtrack). La voix de Cyril, fraichement arrivé en 2015 rappelle à la fois 7 Seconds et Gorilla Biscuits.
Cofondateur de l’association East Side Hardcore, le groupe compte désormais un EP et split avec Swamp Sharks (distribués par Kanivo Chaos et Mighty Worm). Un nouvel EP est actuellement en préparation et devrait sortir au format 7" tout début 2016.
