Backstage Royalty is a high energy band with an explosive sound that can’t be boxed into any one category. With an eclectic mix of punk, rock, techno, screamo, and rap all combined into one dynamite act, these musicians know how to bring an intense stage show that leaves fans wanting more. From Alfred, New York, Backstage Royalty started as a band of three brothers who loved music and began playing together at a young age. Three years ago, after trying on several different titles and genres, the group finally found a name and, with the release of their first, self-titled, full length album, they officially became Backstage Royalty. Backstage Royalty is comprised of the three Prince brothers, Carson, Caleb, and Caden; with the recent addition of Kyle Fritz on bass. Carson is a gifted song writer who spends most of his days creating and focusing on new music for the band. He produced the entire first album, and has an amazing ear for new sounds. As the frontman, his vocals, rapping, and energy get the crowd on their feet! He also plays a mean guitar. Caleb is the energy behind the band. He brings passion to the stage with his guitar and added screams and works behind the scene as assistant manager. Caden is a gifted and creative artist who brings the imagery of the band alive. When it comes to drumming, he is on fire! Creator of his own beats, he is a versatile drummer who adds an intense energy to the music. The band has been working hard to record their second release with producer John Carter of New Vine Media. The EP, titled Stand for Something, was preceded by the single The Indestructibles, whose video and intense sound set the stage for what fans will get from the new EP. "This new EP has an energy and sound that is completely different than our first album. The songs relate to our personal journey, and will cause the listener to assess their own beliefs. We want to pave the way for our generation to believe in something bigger than themselves, not to just follow the crowd."
