Field of Kings

Combining Appalachian folk with contemporary rock, Field of Kings was formed in the little town of Floyd Knobs, IN, across the river from Louisville, KY. Growing up in the country but traveling to the nearby city to perform and record, Tyler Stiller (guitarist/vocalist), Laren Rapp (guitarist), and Justin Lee (drummer) began the foundations of the group in 2010. In 2012 fiddler, Anna Blanton and bassist Seth Robertson joined the band. Blanton's intricate fiddle playing became a key component in defining the group's mix and in that same year the group recorded and released Soiree'; a 14 track CD showcasing the bands cohesiveness and live energy. Field of Kings has shared the stage with artists such as Secondhand Serenade, 10 Years, Moon Taxi, and Red Wanting Blue and performed in notable venues in the region, including The Louisville Palace, Bogart's in Cincinnati and Rupp Arena in Lexington.
