We are Lambda

The duo was created in 2010 in Grenoble by Ryad Kolli and Jules Solinas. After a long time in an electronic musical association near Grenoble, they decide to create the group We Are Lambda. The name was chosen because of a simple observation : the DJ were becoming more and more self oriented. The aim of the name We Are Lambda (from a French expression that means « we are all the same ») was created to bring closer the public and the artist. The name was created to remind that in electronic music, we are all looking for the same things : escaping from reality, discovering new type of music, and entertain ourself alone or with over people. After a couple of gigs in Grenoble, the band decide to create his first EP in 2012 made of 2 tracks « Glory » and « Fast Line ». Follows by « Tristesse » (in english « Sadness »), certainly the most popular track of the duo, then a very acoustic remix of Noah Gundersen. 2014 will certainly be a very busy year for We Are Lambda, with a lot of featuring (with a south Chicago MC), and two new EP coming in summer.
