Dimeless is a German Groove/Thrash metal band. Founded in 2005, Dimeless’ main goals are energetic live-shows, as well as groove metal based brute and innovative songs. Shortly after their forming a demo CD was published in 2006. This four track demo led to numerous gigs in and around northern Hesse. In 2007, Dimeless published their first EP named “The Pill To Swallow”. Fans and critics were thrilled by the EP equally. Metalhammer e.g. stated: “Music for the autobahn from 120mph onwards“ and Uncle-Sally’s: “This music has balls.” Resulting from this great response Dimeless started playing gigs all over Germany. Among others they have played in Berlin, Frankfurt, Bamberg, Erlangen and Iserlohn, including gigs with well known bands as Born From Pain, Tankard, Japanische Kampfhörspiele and Die Happy. In 2009 Dimeless participated in the well-respected band contest Emergenza. Due to their fantastic results in the preliminary rounds, they made it into the finals playing in front of 1200 people in the fully packed out Batschkapp in Frankfurt. Finishing second in the middle Germany final was a great success and a result from sweat-inducing performances. After a switch of guitarists in 2010, Dimeless started the recording of their first LP in 2011. The album, named “Taste Of The Upper Class” is going to be published in spring of 2012. <<< --------- >>> Dimeless ist eine deutsche Groove/ Thrash Metalband, die 2005 in Hessen gegründet wurde. Ihr Kennzeichen sind begeisternde und energiegeladene Liveshows, sowie brachiale und innovative Songs, die Elemente von Thrash- bis Doom-Metal beinhalten! Kurze Zeit nach der Gründung erschien 2006 eine erste Demo CD, welche in einem kleinen Studio produziert wurde und vier Songs beinhaltete. Diese Demo führte zu zahlreichen Gigs in und um Nordhessen. Ende 2007 schließlich wurde die EP „The Pill to swallow“ veröffentlicht. Die EP begeisterte Fans und Kritiker gleichermaßen. Der Metalhammer z.B. schrieb: „Musik für die Autobahn ab 200 km/h“ und Uncle-Sally‘s: „Das hat Eier“. Als Resultat der überragenden Resonanz wurden viele überregionale Shows gespielt. So spielte die Band unter anderem in Berlin, Erlangen, Bamberg und Frankfurt. Unter anderem auch mit namenhaften Bands wie „Born from Pain“, „Tankard“, „Japanischen Kampfhörspielen“ und „Die Happy“. Außerdem nahm die Band 2009 am renommierten und bekannten Bandwettbewerb „Emergenza“ teil und spielten in diesem Zug zweimal in der Batschkapp in Frankfurt vor ca. 1200 Menschen und belegten am Ende einen erfolgreichen zweiten Platz im Mittel-Deutschland-Finale! Nach einem Wechsel des Gitarristen Mitte 2010, folgten im Sommer 2011 die Aufnahmen für die erste LP. Das neue Album namens „Taste of the upper class“ erscheint im Frühjahr 2012.
